Notes:
Long biking day today.
We were disparate to get out of the town as soon as possible. No water in the room. The whole town smelt.
140km - 35km of which were on dirt road tracks. I hated the off road parts - Alan loved it. He is faster than me on these parts as he is carrying less weight and is less worried about damaging his bike than I am. I am faster than him on the flat tarmaced roads. Alan's last long biking day of his trip. We did not end up having much time to stop and see things and chat with people.
As soon as we were about 20km out of Gangapur the atmosphere changed again and people were very friendly again :-)
We arrived at Fatehpur Sikri at 6.50 - just at dusk. We seem to be getting very good at leaving just enough time or just pushing at the end of the day to get to a hotel before dark.
Alan managed to take us straight to the hotel that was cheap and recommended in his guide book.
